kineme.net was a community surrounding the development of
Quartz Composer custom patches, plugins, and other hacks.

Please read the installation guide

Our current focus

In 2012, we started building a new visual programming environment
that doesn’t rely on Apple's Quartz Composer (which Apple no longer supports).
We’ve created Vuo, and people are using it to create amazing shows and installations.
You can download the free Community Edition.

Unsupported — We cannot guarantee that this software will work properly on Mac OS 10.8 and above.

If you'd still like to purchase a license to an unsupported Kineme product,
please use PayPal to send the appropriate amount to store@kosada.com,
we'll respond with your license key(s) within 24 hours.

Release: PBMesh, v0.1

Release Type: Production
Version: 0.1
Release Notes

PBMesh is a plugin that allows you to quickly warp images for different kinds of cylindrical and spherical projections.

More information on how to use this patch, as well as some sample meshes, can be found on Paul Bourke's site: http://local.wasp.uwa.edu.au/~pbourke/miscellaneous/domemirror/warppatch...

Release: YUV Color, v0.2

Release Type: Production
Version: 0.2
Release Notes

A public release of the YUV Color patch, updated to work on Leopard.

This version fixes some timing issues that would cause the patch to execute needlessly when the inputs didn't change. This will provide marginally higher performance for compositions using this patch (probably immeasurable though).

It also autoupdates old compositions to use the newer patch object; This was necessary because we've changed some internals that would otherwise break it.

2008 - Looking Forward

First off, Thank You to all the Visitors, Members, and Beta Testers for making 2007 such an exciting year for Kineme. Many wonderful ideas have been hatched, and there has been a considerable amount of exciting work going on.
