Kineme Network Tools loses key in Preferences Plist

I have been unable to reproduce this bug manually, but it occurs on at least weekly basis (running 24 hours a day). It happens on 20 different machines, usually at the same time (but not always), and I think may be related to intermittent network access (network drops, NetworkTools is activated).

Somehow net.kineme.NetworkTools.plist is losing the "NTKey" entry. I've attached a working .plist and a corrupted one that is missing the NTKey entry. I've changed the extension to .txt to allow attachment.

Are the plists being stored on the local machines, or using network home directories? To work correctly, the plists should be stored on the local machines.

These machines are using the plist locally, not on network home directories.

Sorry I should have been more specific... I'm not sure what exactly is causing the NTKey entry to drop out, but my only hypothesis is due to intermittent network outage. The reason I'm thinking this is that it seems to happen across all of the machines at the same time.

If I remove the plist, restart my app, it regenerates, and the problem is solved. But, that gets a little tedious to do across 20 some-odd machines, 1 -2 times a week...

I've also checked Console, and there's nothing logged when this is happening...

It's a bit odd.

Not sure what's going on but I'll email you a version of NetworkTools that prints some debugging info.
