Hello I'm having trouble outputting 3d mesh + 3d object with Crystal. Any tips for getting the plugins to work in Crystal? thanks, holystrokes.com

Does it run in QC correctly... and then when you put it in Quartz Crystal, does it preview as well when you have the preview box checked?

There is nothing weird happening with file paths, correct? (Such as, using relative file paths for objects, moving the file, then rendering, so nothing appears b/c there is no file found at that path?)

If you can post the composition, it would probably be best.

plugins work in QuartzCrystal automatically, no assembly required. Kineme3D works in QuartzCrystal, no strings attached. If it's not working, make sure the paths to resources are correct, and make sure nothing interesting shows up in the console.

There are no path issues. Everything shows up except for a kineme 3d object ripple, which is fed a mesh. So, the 3d is generative and all within quartz. Works fine in QC, but simply does not show up in crystal. =(

Oh. Okay working on this now. Did get a console error, cannot use GLToolsOrtho "not allowed in safe mode." I'm gonna pull it out of ortho (which I'm nor really using and see).

QuartzCrystal doesn't use safemode, so that warning was from another application (probably finder, quicklook, quicktime, photobooth, and modul8, among others).

Here's a sample video using 3d plane -> 3d ripple -> 3d render. No magic necessary.
