those are great, i just have found this .qtz attached which seems to work best for me.
thanks for your comments also, I have made a few AV videos using after effects always wanting to do stuff like that in realtime so i have been very interested in what quartz composer can do.
meanwhile i have uploaded a lot of my old and recent commercial av videos to vimeo now if anyone is interested

Sounds like feedback is what you're after there. You could do worse than investigating the Core Image Accumulator patch.
