Behringer BCF200 input patch

I seem to remember in the smokris tute at ohio uni he mentions a patch to get input from a BCF2000 controller. Is this patch available or was he just using Kineme Midi? Just got lent a BCF2000 to try-out.

The built-in midi patch, as well as kineme midi stuff, work with this out of the box. no special patches required.

When using the BCF2000 in conjunction with QC (or Ableton Live or anything else for that matter), I recommend using either of the attached MIDI mappings (depending on whether you prefer zero dots to be shown or not).

There's some more documentation on them available here: http://softpixel.com/~smokris/widgets/quartzComposer/bcf2000/

Cool. I kept seeing a blue headed patch with BCF2000 in my minds-eye but searching Kineme yielded nothing. Must have been this page.

Thx ++

Okay got the demo patch and clips working, thank-you for them. I used SysEx Librarian application to apply the mapping file. Is this something that needs to be done every time BCF2000 is switched on? I haven't found a way to have these mappings stored to memory.

Re: Behringer BCF2000 input patch

You should be able to simply send the SysEx file to the BCF2000, and it should automatically save the settings in its NVRAM --- at least this is how my units operate.

Which is handy because in the above SysEx files I posted, the edit/save function keys are disabled, so they can be used to control the host.
