BTW - Finally got around tonight to testing out GL Tools 1.3 upon my PPC and .................. it works like a charm, makes me feel very warm indeed, thank you Kineme.
woah! I'm glad it works -- I hadn't tested much of the PPC stuff (other than a few targeted patches with known issues), so I'm glad to hear it was smooth sailing. Thanks a bunch for testing and the note! :)
wow i can't believe i don't have a ppc laying around anymore, had to let go of my g4 in my divorce. its funny i was so excited when i got that g4,well i have let a few g4-3,s go. actually when i moved back east i had a choice to ship my old tower or have a brand new mini g4 shipped. i should have stayed with my tower but went for the computing power instead. if you ask me a g4 ppc is still a good machine, unfortunately software companies drive the hardware industry as well by making requisite hardware "recommendations" or specifications. im like f#$% i know photoshop ran in black and white on a mac classic why can't i install cs4 on a g4 ????
