It will require GL Tools, AlphaBlend, and Kineme3D.

n.b. this is a recreation of another composition as the original (http://dasaq.wordpress.com/2009/07/01/qrcode-gen/) is no longer online. I originally wanted to recreate it as a CoreImage filter, but gave up as I couldn't find out how to treat a structure as an image for the sampler.

Simple Composition for triggering videos from Ableton's MIDI feedback (Composition by mbira)

This is a simple composition that triggers videos to play when a specific MIDI feedback note from Ableton is triggered.

Please note, this is NOT the same as receiving a MIDI note straight from Ableton. This is through the MIDI Mapping window in Ableton whereby more specific clip information is sent:

When a clip is activated but not yet playing, the MIDI note with Velocity of 126 is sent.

When a clip starts playing a MIDI note with velocity 127 is sent.

When a clip is looping (having played through once), a MIDI note with velocity 1 is sent.

This composition filters the velocities and will play the video at the start of velocity 127 and continue playing until the next MIDI note of 127 is played.
