If you're running in 64bit mode, there's a subtle bug with the key checking code that's fixed in the latest beta (I think?) -- if the 1.2 beta doesn't do it for you, you can run QC in 32bit mode (Finder -> Get Info on QC -> Run in 32bit Mode), and it'll use the 32bit version of the plugin.
We built many plugins for 64bit starting around summer 2008, but it was difficult to test on Leopard because there weren't many (any?) 64bit qc-using apps (we could have written our own, but what's the fun in that?)
I read that as Chris saying that the serial takes in 64bit if you have the latest beta. This tends to make sense, since I have had the latest beta installed and not had problems (btw, the recent beta also does extrusion and parametric surfaces, and I don't think the last release had either).

2 choices:
1) download the 1.2 beta
2) find a collision among 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 possible combinations that happens to work.
I'll let you decide which is easier ;)
But anyway, what's the big deal with 64bit QC anyway right this second? I mean, it's not like people are out-of-memory'ing QC that frequently (and unless you've got >4 GB RAM installed, using a full 4GB for the QC process is going to swap, and thus suck, anyway).
I would be awesome if we could look up keys onsite somehow, though maybe not needed. I'm not really in need of this at this point, because I've ended up just forwarding myself back all of the keys with the same tag in the title of the email... which makes doing an email search pretty trivial.
If your email lets you search, "kineme store" should turn up your keys. I had some early ones that don't follow that mode, and it was always a hassle to remember, until I just forwarded-ed them back with Kineme store in the title :)
This may sound stupid but... did you just put the serial number in again?

I might give this a go. No workaround for getting it to accept the serial in 64-bit mode though?

thx. I've got a project proposal 4you in case you're interested .
for the others: sorry polluting this thread with unrelated posts.
It is now possible.
Click on "My Account" -> "Orders" -> an individual order #.
There's now a "License Keys" pane, showing all the license keys associated with the selected order.
That's really useful, thanks smokris!
