QuartzBuilder Why is the Export button disabled

Lango's picture

Hey all

I have just downloaded QuartzBuilder and ran the application. But the Export button is greyed out and I don't know why.

I have

  • Dragged in a composition
  • Filled in the App Name field
  • Filled in the App Version field
  • Filled in the App Version field
  • Filled in the identifier field
  • Filled in the copyright field
  • Filled in the Help URL field

The resource inspector sees my custom plugin and a gif file. (it doesn't see all the pngs).

In advanced settings i have

  • Filled in the Window Autosave Name (What is this by the way?
  • Filled in the Default Window Dimensions
  • Disabled full screen
  • Clicked Borderless

Is there something I am missing.

Cheers

Lango

Side note: There is no quartz builder link in your documentation page.

Just counted my patches. Waaay over 55. Didn't think there was that many.

I'll purchase it and try again.

okay, it publishes now. My sprites are not showing though. They only flicker when I move the screen.

I think I read something about that before in another thread

The default Quicktime movie patch was causing the sprites not to work (don't know why). But i don't need that at the moment so everything is working how i want.

That was a good conversation I had with myself :) Hopefully this will be useful to someone else.

Was it the movie not getting included in your resources? Did you make sure file path was relative? If so, it should pull the movie into your app resource folder and all should be well.

Not sure, it didn't come up in the resource folder.

PNG graphics were not showing, ones that had no connection to the movie player patch.
