That's pretty funny. I've always loved that Club Lisa example. I like how you adjusted the placement of the characters in the scenes.
I have to say... first thing that jumps in my mind is how it would be pretty amusing to have these guys in front of some archive.org video footage (like 60's riots, underwater footage, etc.).
This is exactly (well, sorta) the kind of activity that I imagined value historian for; a recorder where you could mix all kinds of methods of generating values, to then apply to character animation. I really wish that value historian could get the boolean/ key up&down bug fixed.
Dude. Go find a Jersey Shore clip and have OSCi & Chilli pop up with suntans. Instant internet sensation.

Good idea! Maybe I should add archive footage for the next OSCi & Chilli episode :)

nice - how did you get the occlusion in the stone garden done so well?
that was done by using a mask (png format to retain alpha channel):
i.e.
layer 1 : original Ryoanji garden image.
layer 2 : cartoon figures.
layer 3 : mask image containing just the rocks.
I've been to that garden. I guess you weren't filming that day, photonal... ;)

Those two are getting to be pretty well travelled :-)
