Kinect depth colour cycle

Here's a CI filter that turns the Kinect's greyscale depth feed into an accentuated colour-cycled image.

This makes it easy to perceive depth changes.

And I have to say -- the Kinect is pretty well-resolved in the z-axis. Exciting stuff..

Maybe somebody wil find it useful.

Nice! This made life a lot easier! In an attempt to soften the edges i got some pretty strange results...

cool thanks, i am putting together a blog so i can share all my kinect projects, some of the source is to big to post here but once i get them all organized i will post them here as well. thanks for sharing.
