TruchetTile

An RTSP Player utilising toneburst's TruchetTile composition, the link for which should work in Safari TruchetRTSP.

Note this is working without safe mode enabled for Safari, but then this doesn't actually use any Kineme plugins at all, just relies upon the installed Quartz Composer.webplugin.

One things for sure - it doesn't work in Leopard runtime - puzzling :-).

Does the above link actually work for anyone else on Leopard?

What about in Safari?

Re: TruchetTile

BTW also uploaded a test composition Test GL Tools Truchet RTSP - just to see if I needed safe unsafe mode tweaked by KinemeCore for running that GL Tools Truchet variant in Safari - and the answer was - at least here - no.

:-)

Finally the -

TruchetCube

Enjoy.

Re: TruchetTile

They all load into safari for me on PPC 10.5. First one is pretty slow and who knows if they are entirely operational but I get something cubic and glitchy except for the second one which is 2D and glitchy.

Re: TruchetTile

Thanks for trying, you confirm my suspicions, both as to the true effectiveness of the runtime testing facilities - useful, but not entirely accurate and also that the composition only really play on 10.6.x.

At http://www.littleurl.net/e256 is an uploaded screen grab as run in 64 bit on 10.6.2, it is still being uploaded & will not be ready until about 3:30 am GMT 23rd Feb 2010.

Re: TruchetTile

It probably isn't 3.30 GMT yet but that link (http://www.littleurl.net/e256) links to the .qtz file not the screengrab ;)
