Open a Composition without running I'm playing around with particles in OpenCL, which doesn't seem to like anything going wrong at all. Crashes are frequent, seems it's a common problem looking around. One of my compositions got saved in a bad state, now it won't open without crashing QC, is it possible to open the comp and not have it run? Even just selecting the comp in the file selector crashes QC. QC is on Snow Leopard.

Open a composition that you know is safe. Then go to the menu bar, select "Preferences" under "QuartzComposer". Under "General" select "At Application Startup : 'Do Nothing'". Also select "When opening a composition : 'Show only editor'".
Just tried attaching the file, and it crashes chrome.....
