QB app slow down

Hi,

I have recently moved to Lion and I have just built an app using quartz builder. The app contains a v002 movie player and a 1024 bezier warp patch.

When I build and run the app on Snow Leopard it runs great, no problems at all. When I run the patch in quartz on Lion its fine but when I make it an app in builder the video that I play through it runs really badly, drops half the frames and looks really clunky.

I have tried building as 32bit and 64. the same thing happens both times.

Anyone got any ideas why this should happen?

Lion is a joke. Revert to SnowLeopard and you'll be a QC-happy man.

Knock on wood/fingers crossed, etc., but MountainLion (prerelease) seems to get rid of lag in QC's editor (which I think is a bug, we should file against, b/c it may be fixable in Lion) and maybe some AppKit and OS issues (?). Still had a few whacky things.

Only used it for a couple of hours, so take that with a grain of salt. My testing consisted of trying out some involved qtz's, some intense shaders, and then screwing around with Finder/Safari/Mail and checking out how fast stuff would be able to respond (or not). I had not so fun of a start though - I had to delete all caches, preference files, and reinstall plugins so they'd authenticate to stop it crashing on start up.
