Split Screen Problems Hi, I'm new in the Quartz Composing and looking for some Help to understand the Programming Philosphie. Im using the Quartz Composer for VJ'ing with Arkaos Grand VJ 1.6 on OSX Lion. I Think Quartz Composer is one of the Powerful Tools for VJ's and I hope i can get some Help in this Forum. For the Beginning I'm trying to Create an Effect which Split the Video to Specific Position. I've tried this with QC Sprites but the Sprites have no Image Output which is necessary for Arkaos. Is there a Workaround to grab the output of Sprites ? MfG Andreas

Hi,
You might want to try placing correctly your sprites in a 'render in image' patch, then publish your image output port. Don't forget to place a 'clear' patch on layer 1 of the render in image, if you want to avoid glitch. I don't know Arkaos, but you can publish your sprites positions and sizes to place them correctly, once you're in Arkaos.

that was great tip. I played little bit around with the setting of "Render in Image" but now i can create Image Split with Different Size.
