Two windows - two comps?

pderren's picture

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to work out something for a while now-

I want to make a composition which uses two displays- outputting on one display and with a control window on another display. I'm sure this is a common thing to need to do, but I can't find a concrete answer.

I read several threads such as this one:

Most of which say that there should be two compositions which communicate via OSC. Is that the only way to do this? Does Quartz not support two screens at all?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Two windows - two comps? Check out their window plugin. just use the qtz viewer for your interaction stuff and the climb window for your display.

I wonder if one could make a custom gui window as a plugin for quartz composer, using the climb window framework. But i dont think the project is open source.
