Vector With String to Image With Vector Question

cwilms's picture

When I add a drop shadow using Image With Vector from the output of a Vector With String patch the drop shadow always gets cropped off at the right most edge and sometimes the bottom on "descender" letters (ie. g-j-p-q-y; letters that hang below the line). Any idea how to prevent this? I've tried everything I can think of and it's still there, I have noticed that when rotating the vector with a Vector Transform patch the clipping stays vertical which I didn't expect.

I've attached an example file showing the phenomenon.

Any thoughts on this?

I can't figure it out, you can't seem to change the boundaries of the image to allow the drop shadow the room it needs to render properly.

Re: Vector With String to Image With Vector Question

I know it doesn't sort out your problem with the Vector patches, which is currently bound to crop up under certain configurations SFAIK, , but I find that styled text with drop shadow works well with NI Styled Text patches. As it happens , there is also a discernible straight edge at the left, visible with a letter like g on the left hand side of a Vector Image string.
