Help Setting up custom key commands I am setting up a midi pedal board for something I am working on. The pedal board is working fine. I need some help creating a switch the will not send a pulse unless the button is held down for 2 seconds. Anyone have any I ideas in the best way to achieve this simple task. Cliff

there are a bunch of ways to do this the easiest by far is pedal to stop watch to cognitional set to greater than 2 -> pulse. you can also maybe even easier is just use 2 smooth patches as well to delay.
I did create some thing similar but I was worried if i need to be concerned about leaving the the stop watch going so I trie to build in some thing to stop it.
I know that sounds stupid but do you think it makes a difference weather you leave them stop watches running
if your pulsing the hit after two seconds there is no need to reset the stop watch as each time you trigger start it will restart itself
this will not get used very often. this is a key command to completely clear the screen. that is why I want the 2 second hold. So a user cant clear the screen by accident.
I am also stuck on applying 2 commands to the same button, one that functions for regular presses and one for the 2 second hold.
