Increasing Line Width

scalf's picture

I have been using this patch as a way to highlight edges while mapping things. I want to get the line thicker, much thicker, but have not gotten it past ten.

I tried 3D transformation but that did not widen the line. Increasing the line width on the line's patch past 10 is possible but it stops actually increasing width at 10

Is there a way to make the line thicker or an alternative patch to use for this purpose?

Re: Increasing Line Width

If you want thicker lines you pretty much have to go with a different method, for ex., using quads with Kineme GL Quad or built in mesh tools. See the dev example Mouse Ribbon for a method to use javascript to create mesh / quad points. You can change the js to have it draw uniform lines.

Thanks for the tip! The Quad seems to fit the bill

Re: Increasing Line Width

Just got it worked out.

You can adjust your height on the left and right side, as well as colors and such.

This is going to be really useful for architectural lines. Here is the example
