System Volume control

I need to control the sound volume from within a patch. First thing I wanted to try using the the Shell command plugin and a simple osascript call, like . But unfortunately, the plugin seems to be no longer working under QC4. Is there another way of doing this?

try my apple script plugin. there is an example of how to control itunes from qc.

Apple script works great with the command "set volume 7".

Don't think Kineme Audio Tools do have this feature (setting system wide audio volume) Thx, v.
