Compositing Broken?

TheRandomDude's picture

Hey Everyone,

I noticed recently that when I fired up iTunes Visualizer with Lathe selected, it looks like crap, so I did some testing. It looks like compositing is completely disabled somehow on my Black Macbook (Intel GMA X3100) at least in quartz. I'm known to do some odd things on this machine, but I can't imagine causing this. Anyone know how to fix this or should I try reinstalling snow leopard?

I kinda want to build some new compositions after rainy day.

Could really have done with a screen shot of how bad Lathe is.

Don't know how your compositing is broken.

I can easily reproduce the "problem" by putting a .png to a Sprite on top of a coloured clear background and achieve a similar result like you have got by setting the Sprite to Add Blending.

Figured it out, for future reference, check out this thread: http://kineme.net/Discussion/General/DoesyourQC4look

Gonna have to kill GLTools and hopefully that fixes it.

Updating to the latest GL Tools helps too :-). [ That Lathe looked lame •~ ]

Re: Compositing Broken?

Like cybero said, updating GL Tools should fix this issue. This is only relevant to Snow Leopard.
