Here, please find the file with Particle System instead of _1024_Particle_Warefare. Please also note that Yellow and Blue particles are working with the switch, however, I cannot able to include the other two Red and Green particle. .

Thanks a lot

Re: Switcher for 4 Particles and 4 Colors

I just realized that this challenge can be solved with one patch. This patch should have three "inputs" and one "output/result". If ANY ONE signal is triggered, the "output" will trigger a signal too. I will then connect this to "off signal" of each of the (on/off switch) that I have connected to particle enabling input.

the question is still there, how do I create this patch?

thanks for any help, please.

Hi muqeem. Switching in QC implies some combination of multiplexers (and/or demultiplexers), conditionals, counters, toggles, pulses, watchers, logic, and maybe a math expression patch or javascript. This usually amounts to an exercise in basic boolean logic. Here's a demo that might help.

Re: Switcher for 4 Particles and 4 Colors

Thank you so much for these hints; there is so much to learn and these patches really informative for me.

I have added on your first example and got this patch where I am trying to turn on the particle one at a time.

I cannot get it working where only one pulse turn on the particle and leave it there and when the second particle is on the rest of them turn off.

I feel like I have to learn Jawascripting and then create a patch to control this situation?????

any help, please
