Lighting and Kineme 3DHi there, I have downloadet the Kineme 3D trial and I am testing the bundled effect. Having trouble as you can see with ripple. It seems to break lighting (same for noise). Is there anything I can do or is it a bug? I'm on a 10.7.4 MB pro with 9600M GT.

Make sure you turn normals to smooth or faceted on the rendering patch, or use one of the discrete "smooth" patches right after the deformer.
Some of the deforms strip an object of it's normals (I'm guessing for faster computation in cases that lighting isn't needed), so they need to be set afterwards.
Yes that works. Great - and good to learn something (always think of normals if lighting breaks).
