Quartz Builder: loading a qtz from resources folder

Hi Guys i'm trying to load a qtz using composition loader located within the resources folder within an Quartz Builder App.

Is this not possible? am i missing some thing obvious? Other types on file formats seem to work.

On attachment is a example of what i'm tying to do

Re: Quartz Builder: loading a qtz from resources folder

I know this might not please you to be hearing this, itsthejayj , but I find that instead of using a Composition Repository patch to load the .qtz, just dragging the composition onto the editor stage and loading as a macro patch works just fine.

See attached .qtz, just load into QB from the test folder, all works AOK in QB.

Would be interested to know if a more elegant and flexible solution could be appropriated though.

:) ha a cheeky response Peter, let me explain more so i don't look too much of a fool.

I trying to use the composition loader for two reasons, one my composition is so large its now a nightmare to navigate around in the editor.

But mainly because i trying to allow certain parts of my application to be edited by you guys, while keeping other important parts secure using QB encryption.

I'm starting to think about using the system repository for the separate compositions but would much prefer to keep things all bundled together.

Ok so putting the extra compositions in the MacOS folder seems to fix my problem. ;)

I don't have my laptop handy to check your files but it's definitely possible to do your original intention. Put them all in a folder, make the scanner or file path relative.
