License

What License does Kineme Use?

Products

When you purchase a license to use one of the following products:

...you are required to adhere to one of the following scenarios, depending on your use-case:

  • For Personal Use: The licensed software may be installed and used on any number of computers owned by the licensee. The licensed software may not be installed or used on computers not owned by the licensee.
  • For Business Use: The licensed software may be used concurrently by one person on one computer. You are free to install it on multiple computers, as long as it is never used simultaneously on multiple computers, in which case you should purchase multiple licenses.
  • For Exhibitions: The licensed software may be used on one computer actively participating in exhibition project. You are free to install the license on any number of offline backup computers (computers which are not in use, but are in reserve to be swapped into the exhibit), but each computer that plays an active role in the exhibit requires its own license.

All updates within the same major version are included when you purchase a license. For example, if you buy when the current release is version 1.1, you can update to every 1.x release at no extra cost. (If/when version 2.0 is released, you may be offered a discount to upgrade to version 2.0.)

Please contact us to discuss any of the following special licensing options:

  • Bulk discounts
  • Site licenses
  • SDK for embedding Kineme Plugins in your applications
