Release: TuioClient, v20071219
Release Type:
Beta
Version:
20071219
Release Notes
This is a Leopard port of the Tuio Client patch from Tiger. It's totally untested. Have fun. We're probably not going to maintain this very much... [Edit: this is deprecated. The original reacTIVision developers released a native (non-Java) Tuio Client QC plugin --- see http://mtg.upf.edu/reactable/?software --- please use that instead. ]

This patch will need to go in /Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Patches/ or ~/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Patches/
Not Quartz Composer Plug-Ins.
I've just been informed that Martin Kaltenbrunner is maintaining a Leopard version of the client now.. I'll try to find a link, and post it. or something.
Someone know a method to receive the fingers from reacTIVision? I know this works in Max. In the Quartz TUIOclient?
I never managed to get finger ID working (at least with the very first TUIOplugin, that hasn't been released by Kineme) under QC either. Are they already implemented ?
This is awesome. The same question again, any idea about detecting fingers?
it seems that the wiimote is better at getting fingers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0awjPUkBXOU&feature=related
Hi there has been a new release of reactivision with finger tracking. Are you guys thinking of updating this patch? Or is there a way to track fingers already?
Cheers

We weren't really planning on supporting this patch much -- it was a quick fix for someone who needed the old TUIO patch to work on Leopard. I think the actual developer manages a QC Plugin for it now, but I've not looked much...
I like your patch better. It is way more intuitive. You guys should update it now for finger tracking since the new reactivision works great
