iBooth

Hi! I am trying to create an app that exports images, I just found movie exporter so I used this patch. With only one click it creates a 2/3 frame video. and then a movie importer to show the image on the screen. I found that the movies made with the 'movie exporter' don't load well with the image importer. After I save the file with QC they load though... is it the codec? Also there is a problem with the 'create image importer' java patch. is it a bug?? Check the file attached!

Thank you!!

Re: iBooth / Image writer

There's the image writer plug that could be better for this kind of thing. There isn't much control (it generates filenames automatically, and it exports continuous when enabled. A pulse signal will do the trick for one image most of the time).

Install in the /Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins/ folder.

I was wondering if anyone made a more advanced version of this patch with more control over filenaming and exporting? It was an example patch with the previous xcode, so it shouldn't be that hard to fix i presume.

Oh and if you want to go with the movie exporter, use the movie importer instead of the image importer.

Re: iBooth / Image writer

Right. Image writer patch isn't the answer for what i am looking for. this just creates png's with no control of how many i need. No time control. Still think movie exporter is the answer for now but it doesn't save the movies correctly to load them later... :(

Ah ok, i've changed it, you forgot to add a .mov extention in the movie exporter, and i've replaced the image loader with the movie loader.
