SVG importing / rendering / manipulation

either:

1. a patch that renders SVG to an image output, or
2. a patch that renders SVG directly using opengl (maybe http://svgl.sourceforge.net/ or http://libshiva.sourceforge.net/ ?)

...and maybe a suite of patches to manipulate svg images?
