Network

HI, I have two composition that talk to each other using the network broadcaster and reciver.The broadcaster is set to "UDP Broadcast". I found that when i run the comps without some kind of network or internet (wireless or ethernet) the comunication does not happen. I notice that ifI have QC running and i catch a wireless network for just an instant the commuication betweeb comps starts. This becomes a problem because sometimes i have to use my comps where there is not wireles or cable network...then i cant use my comps. Does someone knows what is going on and a possible solution? My comps run in the same machine so there should not be any need of a network with other computer... Thks.
