Combining frames / long exposure / blending frames (Composition by psonice)
Not too sure of the correct name for this. All it does is blend all frames from a source over a certain amount of time - like a long exposure photograph basically. Potential uses: - Making a long-exposure photo - Noise reduction in photography (part of what I made this for originally) - Timelapse photography (what I use it for now - it makes much better timelapse, no jerkiness) - Video effects, with a shorter frame length |
this is pretty cool with light painting
No, this one is pretty cool with light painting. The other one is crap in comparison ;) Press space to clear.
i tried it in cl with returning max(tex, last) like in this shader. doesn't look the same ;0
It's because the colourspace in the RII is messing up the colour values.
thanks for this patch . .. . I've trying out some stuff with it. And it works great . .

Cool. I like how you're combining it with the colours too!
The colours were a result of the framecombiner patch as well . . . in the end I put everthing on top of each other with the movie of two people dancing as a mask on top.
Very slick!! Congrats. I've worked on a video comp with a similar effect. But didn't get it to work in QC. Thus I made it in static way using photoshops video capabilities. Have a look at the outcome over here: http://www.atelierschork.com/work/a-thousand-kisses/
What I actually wanted to achieve is a "combined image" with 100 continues frames of a movie to be used. But ongoing in the sense of "always adding a new frame to the stack and taking the oldest away".
Any idea how I could achieve this with QC?
