Funnily enough I don't have a registered Ableton, but do have the demo of Live that I downloaded recently when prompted by JAM [Jonathan Hammond] who was looking for someone to help test his Alpha of Just Add Music.
BTW , haven't heard anything about that since his email to me earlier this month, perhaps you'd be interested in testing out his JAM Alpha ? [you can find him on twitter]
I'd think you'd be a better choice of testing partner as someone who
a] does regularly use Ableton [which I don't]
&
b] actually does gigs & VJ'ing [which I never have done]
as distinct from creating other types of intangible assets [like I actually do :-)].
That project looks like it might well be a good study example. Shall look into a little later when I've finished doing some other form filling.
Finally got a spare moment to reconnect MIDI Notes to the Macro and other patch inputs, and it really does work nicely, cheers.
