neat, nice edge detection work. your shaders are making more sense to me now. this does give a pretty cool low fi mosaic look with a sort of hi - tech angular edge effect. was messing with some of the standard qc tiles last night. its interesting how cool tiles become when you put them in a feedback loop, getting some very bizarre results doing this.
Incidentally, if you go in and edit the edge-table image (in the Process Controls macro), you could get different looks. I thought of maybe doing a slightly 'rounded-off' version, for a more stylised look. Haven't got time to fiddle in Photoshop right now though, unfortunately.
Nice. Looks like a Digital PDP-8 (or PDP-something) on the cover. We had one at school. Not that I ever programmed it with the flip switches (dip switches?), that was just for bootstrapping. We had 3 teletypes. Oh back in the day huh.
You know in the BASIC language it shipped with, you couldn't even save data to a file. I had to hard code the Top Scores table for the UFO game I copied in from some magazine. Got stuck in "2.0 land" with that game... it's a lesson I still haven't finished learning ;-)
