Can you do transitional fades with movies triggered from directory scanner? As the title says, I am triggering movies that are being pulled from the directory scanner and Structure Index Marker "Index" is being used to iterate through them. Can you have a transitional fade between movies triggered this way? I'm thinking not, but if so, how? Thanks!

This comp might get you started, uses a directory scanner, splits the result in 2, and uses two movieplayers/billboards to achieve the transition.

Here's another way using CI Dissolve. Uses up/down triggers (keyboard, midi, etc.) to cycle through a folder of movie clips. Has modes for manual, auto advance and random. Hold up/down triggers to ramp speed. Hope it helps.
