SerialIO patch - no longer available? where to get? [Arduino]

xabaz's picture

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to connect Arduino and QC. I've follovwed a link to ( http://kineme.net/release/SerialIO/20091206 ) but it seems that it no longer exists.

Where can I get this file, or something similar?

Many thanks,

Adrián

It does exist & the culprit is the sometimes impertinent Drupal / PHP / MySQL that throws a curve ball declaring some perfectly good link as non existent. Often follows on after some markup / coding failure . I can download and install the patch .

@xabaz, since that's a beta release, you need to have the "I want to be a beta tester" checkbox set in your account preferences.

I've enabled that for you; when you're logged in to this site, you should now be able to access the beta.

Hi All, sorry to revive such an old topic... I just recently got back into QC development and could really use the SerialIO patch for a particular project.

The page http://kineme.net/release/SerialIO/20091206 throws me a Access denied bone.

I made sure to select the Beta-thingy on sign-up...

Anyone ? Thanx !

Ok, (finally*) got it :D Made quite shure I checked the box on registration. Apparently that's not enough ?

Had a hard time finding the account preferences. Just in case someone else runs in to this: It's under 'My Account' half way down the left menu !... (doh).

Oh, and under Lion put it in /[user]/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Patches, create the directory if it's not there. (My box only had a 'Quartz Composer Plugins' folder by default)

Thanx !
