Hi folks, I'm happy to have found you all here. I'm a musician living in Austin, TX, and my group has recently begun integrating midi-controlled visual and audio into the show.

I recently moved from a PC to a macbook pro. Before, I was running Ableton, a serial->midi converter (for triggering LEDs in our hand built midi triggers, Reason, MIDI OX, and Visual Jocky.

Now on the Mac, I've dropped VJO and midiOX, and I'm working to recreate what I need in QC.

You'll see lots of beginner questions from me! I do have some PHP background, so I'm hoping that experience will help translate and also help me keep my patches small by using coding best practices. :-D
