kinect & OpenNI not working after mac upgrade

Hi Guys,

I re-started playing with kinect & openNI after upgrading my mac to Mountain lion. First it doesn't recognize kinect.

Then tried opening osceleton and I get: you can't open the application "osceleton" because the classic environment is no longer supported

I dropped it in the terminal and I got OpenNI/OSCeleton\ QC\ toolkit\ v0.1/OSCeleton\ and\ sendOSC/osceleton.app Bus error: 10 unknown

at one point I saw a message saying change the port number but not sure how and never saw it again.

It was all working before and I see on the forum others have had issues as well. saw Dust suggesting downloading zigjs.com but I'm sure this is not the right site: http://www.zjgjs.com/

Help please guys, much obliged as always.... M

found the zigFu site, downloaded their openNI & webplayer. first it doesn't work and second not sure how to link this to QC... any guidance would be fantastic i just want to have the same set up i had with QC, thank you guys

Thank you very much Cybero. So is it not possible to use QC and OpenNI anymore or this set up will allow me to run my QC & OpenNI patch again, such as hit-test.qtz or single_skeleton.qtz? M

I don't see what the zigfu zigfu has to do with QC other than installing the Open NI driver, not sure if it is the latest driver or an earlier one; unless their SDK has some such goodies, zigfu looks very browser oriented.

OpenNI 2.2 seems to be the way to go.

http://developkinect.com/resources is a good a place as any to start.

The main recommendation thereon regards setting up Kinect with QC is to use Synapse.

That might not help out with the OSC issues you've reported though.
