Cue point in a qt movie

Hello!

I have a problem: I would like to add some sort of cue point into a movie and when i give an input signal (es a keypressed) I would like the movie to jump to that cue point maybe with a transition (like a crossfade).

Now the hard part for me is to have a movie to jump to a peculiar frame... Any solution or suggestion?
