Kineme String With URL Hello, I have some problems using this patch. I have created a composition basically displaying the string from a URL. It works fine. However, when the string at the URL changes, I have the problem having the new one displayed in the QC. Even I quit QC and re-open, it still displays the old string. Is this some kind of a cache issue? I should note here that when I trigger the QC file in VDMX, sometimes I got the new string displayed. But QC still displays the old string, on the same while... I also tried another composition, switching URLs with a multiplexer, it didn't work either? Is there anything I can do? Thanks, Ali

this may be a caching thing -- I'll look into modifying the url cache policies to work around this ..... eventually.
How soon do you need a solution?
I'll perform at popkomm festival Berlin tomorrow night! Is this something easy for you to work out? I can also perform this manually tomorrow but it would be great if I have it soon, if possible... Many thanks!
I've sent you the updated version, with a reload input -- it seems to work for me, so hopefully it'll help you out. Not sure if it's actually caching, or if there's something else going on, but our version definitely didn't do any aggressive caching to present stale data... Let's see what happens...
