hi just a quick question....I am forever a newbie compared to most you guys...Im playing around in kineme 3d again and I learned blender in the last two days and developed a bunch of 3d graphics...my question is when I use a noise or and kind of distortion plugin it messes up the lighting patch....was wondering if there is a work around for this...here is a example just delete the noise patch and replug to see the way I would like it to look...but with the noise...sorry if thats confusing and thanks again!

Re: kineme 3d help

On the render patch (3D Object Render), there's a "Normals" input -- your composition has it set to Pass-through, which means it doesn't do any normal calculations. When you use a deformer, they generally discard normals (for simpler, faster code). Try setting it to Smooth or Faceted to restore lighting.
