simple app test help?If anyone could give this a run, who is on 10.6, it would be appreciated... Steps to use - Open app. Paint around with your cursor. There are some parameters available from the menubar parameter option. What I'm curious about is this; the first time I ran it after I compiled it, it was abnormally slow. I ran it again (and multiple times afterwards), and I had no problems. I don't know if this was a hiccup, or (?). On a nVidia 9400 or 9600 it runs smoothly at default parameters. I'm also concerned about whether or not there looks like there is glossy lighting on more systems besides my test system (it should have a generally glossy look). Thanks!

It was about as fast or slow the 2nd and 3rd time of running as the 1st in my testing. Does look glossy.
Thanks... on my first open, I was thinking "is openCL falling back on software or something?" It was slower than my QC version.
It's probably just that I had a crapload of icons on my desktop, and a bunch of windows open. It's worked at regular speed since. I appreciate your time.
same here (last generation macmini, 9400) not to fast though, but hey still a mini
It's like a 20fps-er with the 9400 (for me). I should have put in a fps meter or something, but honestly, what I saw would have been really obvious (like, major stutter). Maybe I had some kind of weird thing going on with my memory because of just having finished the build, and having had a couple QC versions running. It's kinda intense, so it probably wouldn't ever be that fast on slower comps :(
