it says the limits are for demo are 55 exports. from my demo trial i do not remember getting nearly that many exports. however i can say it is a well worth it program. it is a really fast way of bundling up plugins and patches etc... for distribution.
It's that there's a limit to the amount of patches a composition can have in a composition using demo mode. It's so that you can see that an extremely simple composition does work.
The problem basically is that the App Inputs/Outputs and Window Inputs/Outputs in the Template have a bunch of Structure Key index patches in them, and that knocks up the patch count quite a bit.
Luckily, using the Template is only needed if you want to use some of the functions provided by them, like receiving filed dropped on the app window, or setting window level.
You should be able to drop your plain composition in QuartzBuilder and export; there's only 13~14 patches from what you pasted in, depending on how the scheme counts patches.
(There's no automatic way, you just have to count them... I didn't count all of the patches in the template, but you're probably just about right over the count.)
If that doesn't work, you probably should contact info@kineme.net
The Instructions patch is a virtual patch that has a bunch of subpatches.
You can do a search in Finder for "Instructions.qtz" and then pull it onto the Editor as a macro and see if that works, but I'm guessing it's just running over the patch limit. You can probably just make something similar with one Image With String, and a Billboard set to real size and pixel aligned (without the drop shadow/composite stuff in Instructions.qtz that knocks up the patch count).
Related, I am trying the QB demo to see if it will work for what I am trying to do. The template does not show up for me, and when I go into QB to click install template it says it is installed. I have already rebooted my machine. Is there DL for the template separate from the QB DL?
(backhistory: In Leopard, there was dynamic "template chooser" in qc that allowed the quartzbulder template to be presented there.)
Now, it should copy to your desktop - I don't know if it actually copies to the real template folder or not anymore. Do you not see it on your Desktop?

yeah thanks Gt i tried counting in the property editor but got kinda lost in the count.... ;)
there appears to be a problem with the "Instructions" patch that makes it not working...
