hi i have a novation launchpad witch i am now using for quartz to trigger my visuals
but i have to use the midi notes receiver
and i cant find the "g#4" and all the ones with the "#" in-between
here is the midi layout of the launchpad
Where have you looked? The Novation Launchpad Reference Manual might be a good place to start. There, you would find that the layout you posted is for the X-Y mapping mode, not the Drum Rack mapping mode. Novation recommends "The drum
rack layout is better for situations when the Launchpad must deal with musical MIDI notes: six
continuous octaves are available in this mode, and these are laid out in a regular pattern." That layout includes your missing F#4, etc.
Just by the way, your question is not about Quartz Composer, but about a MIDI hardware controller. In general, people here can help you with setting up and debugging QC patches, but you might find more helpful information on an Ableton site. And, as the kind saying goes, RTFM.
Is there a question in there?
