Directory Scanner question ??? Hello, I'd like to determine whether the Quartz Composer Directory Scanner patch is able to scan images from a folder posted online. My objective is to run a slideshow from images posted online. The Image Importer patch in my composition is calling up images from my online folder one at a time but directing the Directory Scanner to that folder isn't working. Perhaps I've configured something incorrectly or perhaps I'm trying to make the Directory Scanner do something it just doesn't do. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Have a look at the webkit plugin by coge and vade http://code.google.com/p/cogewebkit/ . I think theres an example that shows you grab a structure of images from a webpage, might be a work around.
Thank you for the tip. So far what I've been able to download is a patch identical to the directory scanner that says Koge WebKit above directory scanner. The patch does not have any of the additional ports that the patch pictured on the website has. I'll keep working to figure out how I can get a hold of the full webkit patch and see if that enables me to accomplish my goal. Thank you again for the tip.
