Does Mavericks support QC?Hello, Has anyone heard of any recent, definitive, information on whether the new Mac OS, "Mavericks", will support Quartz Composer or not? If not, has anyone some great creative tricks to keep QC running in a split way, partition or otherwise? Thanks

Hi,
Now that Mavericks is out, any news QC wise?
Thanks .aku
As you may have noticed it seems that Graphics Tools for Xcode - October 2013 update from Apple developer site still includes Quartz Composer. Downloading and waiting to see what happens.
I'm current developing an app that supports qc, downloaded the new version of xcode today, everything goes fine for the 10.9 build, seems to work exactly as before. Looking through the docs, nothing I see is marked as deprecated in the qc framework.
Great news that's very good to hear
Hello,
Actually, I experienced some problems with cocoa/QC projects when upgrading from 10.7 to 10.9 :
If somebody has any clue about this, i'm interested...
greetings !
OK : I have replaced the key value observing on QCPatchController by observing directly the QCView. Didn't know that is was possible.
Ok i'm seeing this qcView build problem too. Is there any chance some one could share a xCode project with the work around @zanroversi is talking about. I'm a bit lost.
Hello,
This is a simple Xcode5 / 10.9 project which contains a minimal demo for doing this. I hope it will help you ! bye
Can this thread get renamed? It's kinda annoying to keep getting emails with "mavericks deprecation" in the title... when it isn't deprecated in mavericks at all, and it's just a bunch of hot air.
Sticking to facts is a good thing for tech forums.
Renamed.
