MIDI OUT Into Logic Audio Software instrument? OK so most will want to get midi into QC but I was wondering about how to get MIDI from QC into a Logic Audio instrument. I have had a search on here, and a good go in QC and Logic but no joy yet. This must be doable right? What do I need to do to pipe the MIDI out to Logic?

Yeah I saw that. I have the same test patch going, just an lfo driving the gate. I am on SL 10.6. I see that the MIDI Tools is just for 10.5? Is that right? Anyway not getting any MIDI action out of Logic yet.

Looks a bit as though there is an outstanding bug in MIDITools. C Wright was looking at it before he left, but the solution appears to go back to earlier version. Maybe we can drum up some interest with the current crew. I got a crash. If it happens again, I'll send a report Kineme's way.
There's also a built in midi patch.
the built in MIDI CC out works well. KnM Global OUT Midi Note from the 2008 plugin works also well (but the CC out is broken).
Keep in mind that the idea of sending midi from QC to an audio app, while being cool, is a bit clumsy in practice, at least for doing music, as you're sending midi at "video" speed (= max 60FPS), which is not so tight.
