QC crashing when attaching zoom blur to image-why? Hi folks, I've followed along with this sweet tutorial on the God Rays: http://www.dvcreators.net/rayz-o-lite/ It's super cool, and I learned tons! I then wanted to use my logo and do the same effect. I tried a high-quality .jpeg in place of the image to string and...crash... I tried a png...crash, etc, etc. How can I do this? In a similar vein-what type of resolution should I use for a black and white logo that will be projected? What format? I don't see a way to import a vector image into QC...

Hmm...OK. I resized the image in QC, and now it seems stable, so I'm not sure why that fixed it, but it did. :-)
If I got a bunch of outright crashing on stuff that seems like it should work, I would consider restarting the computer.
I wonder if the image was "over" some kind of max size allowed? I wouldn't expect a crash, but I guess you never know...
