Collada Texture Noob Having issues importing a Collada (.dae) file into Quartz composer. I have done exactly as the following video made by god/man/beast Vade describes http://vimeo.com/6310533 but it's not quite working. The Collada object (created in sketchup) appears but completely white without the textures. I am a total noob so any advice is appreciated |
You will not have included the textures in your export from SketchUp.

I would check to make sure that the collada/dae file has proper paths to the texture. Some 3d apps output absolute paths, while others don't, so edit the dae in a text editor and make sure that its just "texturename.jpg" and that the texture is in the same folder as the model. Something like that :)
