Quartz Builder

I've placed clear patches with 100% alpha at every macro level of my composition but it's transparent on desktop except for sprites' spheres and other renderer objects.

Are clear patches always render clear in QB apps?

Hello, although dubbed offline, this is actually cybero writing.

As the title of the post here suggests, I'm finding that I'm having a problem with Quartz Builder applications.

What had previously worked AOK, no longer works.

Please find two links below to two Quartz Builder toys hosted on my site, they work for me, they used to work elsewhere, but unless I've just hit upon an odd exception on the Mac I tried the items out on, they no longer work properly.

Visualizers, Screen Savers and other types of compositions still work in situe as expected.

Just Quartz Builder applications.

These include the ones that I'd published a long time ago, all the way through to today.

RandomViz shouldn't require any 10.6.x support, whilst RandomPlasma requires OpenCL and thus 10.6.x.

Anyway, I updated yesterday to 10.6.6. and QuartzBuilder started crashing. :l Don't know if it's the update, cause I haven't used it for two weeks or so, but today I needed it for a very important school project lol, and it opens normally, but when I load any .qtz file it just crashes.

I attached the error report.

I noticed now that when I quicklook a .qtz it crashes Finder :l, but when I just open it in QC then everything works fine.

Help?

Hi all, I've been trying around with the Quartz Builder to create an application running in fullscreen mode. I have 2 questions I'm not really clear about: - how can I create an application without the menu bar at the top? I've tried all the different options, but no success so far. In some examples I saw people mentioning the "no-menu-bar" option, which I cannot find in the current version. - Also the Quartz Builder templates (when creating a new quartz composition) do not show on my screen. I'm using Snow Leopard (10.6.5), is this the reason?

Is there a way to achieve this? Do I maybe have to use a second screen (what I actually wanted to avoid to keep things simple)?

so im not in the mac dev program although i'm in the iphone program so i'm very familiar with that process.

does anybody know what this means in terms of qc apps. i'm assuming using qc in a ca layer etc... is ok but what is to be said of standalone app builders like quartz builder or unity etc...

seeing that there is no xcode file with a quartz builder app do you think we would expect to see some sort of plist for code signing possibilities within a qc info plist or something.

any info would be useful, i mean any info that is ok to be spoken about.
