kineme 3d object renderer viewer

hi, i am new to kineme and quartz composer .. did some pure data and vvvv before. but somehow quartz is different. i already stuck in a very simple patch .. tried to find some tutorial but didnt solve the problem .. i want to show a 3d object in the viewer. so i put the (3d file), i tried obj/dxf/3ds connect the (output object) with the (input object) of the (3d object renderer) nothing happens in the viewer. what am i missing? seems somehow i dont understand how this should work (i am using snow leopard) thx for help!!
