Just to note: backdrops are of extremely limited use, and shouldn't really be used unless you Really Know What You're Doing ;)
Any requests for more safe-mode workarounds? (tiltsensor seems rather harmless, as does histogram and hit test....)
and what are backdrops for exactly ?
they're used in photobooth/iChat for the background removal stuff (to put your face in the ocean/in space/on a rollercoaster/etc) -- they're coded to only work in QC, PhotoBooth, and iChat (see http://kineme.net/Discussion/Leopard/BackdropHackdrop for more notes when I was hacking on them)
